1. He didn’t know he had a healing semblance.

3. It took him, Ruby, AND REN awhile to realize it was his semblance healing her.
4. Not knowing if his new found ability would stop if he moved his hands (let alone how it even works) Jaune, in a moment of intelligence, decided NOT TO RISK HER LIFE AND CONTINUE TO APPLY PRESSURE TO HER WOUND JUST IN CASE
5. Ruby got knocked out. She only moved his hands to check the wound, not because he was touching her inappropriately. (Which he wasn’t he was trying to save her life, ya’ll acting like he was groping her tiddies)
6. Upon realizing he didn’t need to be touching her he kept his hands above her.
