Thank you for your help!

My landlady, in true Jersey slumlord fashion, has decided to keep the extra money she took from me and apply it towards February’s rent. I also have not received my stimulus check yet (I got the last one in the mail two weeks after everyone else did as well...sooo I’m kinda expecting that to happen again).

I do not get my next paycheck until Friday 1/8 and, because my landlady is keeping the extra rent:

• I have fumes in my gas tank (my main job requires me to drive 60-90miles a day, my part time job requires at least ~20-30miles round trip).
• I have no food (except for 3 boxes of pasta, 2 cans of peas, and 2 bottles of water...) in my apartment until I can get to the food pantry on Monday. Normally, I would just grin and bare it, throw on some thick clothes and go dumpster diving...except it’s wet and I’m sure the food is moldy.
• I have to pick up my CPTSD Service Dog’s Rimadyl (my vet charges $15 for it.... BLESS HER❤️)

...not that it matters, but did I mention that my birthday is on Monday (1/4)? 🥺
